  • The Rare Breeds Survival Trust are a UK based charity that promotes understanding and conservation of native breeds, including the Manx Loaghtan.
  • The Manx Loaghtan Sheep Breeders' Group works to promote this primitive rare breed of sheep, and the wool and meat products from them. The group attends shows around the country throughout the year, and holds an annual show each June.

  • The British Coloured Sheep Breeders Association exists to promote coloured sheep such as the Manx Loaghtan, and the use of coloured wool.
  • Black Mountain Alpacas are based a few miles from the Beilidu Manx Loaghtan flock, and produce a range of fibres from their alpaca fleeces. They also sell alpacas on to loving homes.
